Time for Deputy Santa requests, donations

Dear Editor, It is that time of year again! Christmas is just around the corner. The DeWitt County Sheriffs Office will again be sponsoring the Deputy Santa Program for the needy children of this county. The last 27 years that Deputy Santa has been in operation have been a great success. We have helped so many needy children in our county have a wonderful, merry Christmas. We wish to continue to provide for the needy children throughout DeWitt County. Our efforts have taken us from one end of the county to the other and throughout all of our communities. We would like to thank all of our contributors from the past 26 years, and we hope their donations along with any new donations this year will help satisfy the needs of the children in our community.
