CHS Cheerleaders: Blue-Ribbon Gobblers

The Cuero High School Varsity Cheerleaders attended NCA (National Cheer Association) Cheer Camp from June 24-27. During the four-day camp held in Galveston, they were recognized for numerous daily awards including Spirit Stick Award on days 2 and 3, Stunt S.A.F.E. Award, Technical Excellence for Crowd Involvement and for Voice Projection. They also received several blue superior ribbons. The entire Varsity Squad was nominated for individual All-American Try-Outs.
2024-25 Varsity Cheerleaders: Mallory Mills (Mascot), Ambri Pawlik, Keely Bryan, Lillie Heller, Julia Hernandez, Lexi Flessner, Joslyn Villanueva, Kirsten Trevino, Emily Woods. In front: Kaitlyn Comiskey (Asst. Head), Ella Jander (Head Cheerleader) and Jaydie Cooper (Asst. Head).

At the final awards ceremony, Varsity Cheer brought home several TOP honors including; Overall Spirit Stick Winner, Top Team Band Chant, Top Team Cheer, and the Top Team Chant in the Small Varsity Division. Ella Jander (Head) and Jaydie Cooper (Asst. Head) were chosen as All-American Cheerleaders. Jaydie was also awarded the Pin It Forward pin. Mascot, Mallory Mills, was awarded All-American Mascot and co-awarded NCA Best Mascot along with our JV Mascot.

The JV Cheerleaders also attended the camp and were awarded several blue superior ribbons for their cheers and chants and the spirit stick during their time at camp. They also received the NCA Top JV Team Cheer for small JV at the final awards ceremony. The JV Mascot, Jeremiah Juntunen, received All American Mascot honors along with co-awarded NCA Best Mascot along with our Varsity Mascot.
