As the small town non profit pet rescue and shelter looks back on the last 12+ years since it's inception - there is so so so so much to be thankful for: *Lucky to have a very visible location - 407 US Highway 183 South, Cuero *Proud of the standards of operation for intake of pets - making sure each pet is vetted, microchipped, spayed/ neutered *Blessed with dedicated 'walkers' who find time to walk, socialize, bathe and interact with the pets *Having a facility built to accommodate a large number of pets and with service areas, play areas, and welcoming areas for potential adopting guests *Blessed by media exposure on the Victoria TV Station, KIX Radio, KLove Radio, The Cuero Record, Yorktown News and Views and the Victoria Advocate *PAOC Adoption specialists ready to help potential adopters find the perfect pet for their home, their lifestyle and their family *Help and assistance from Cuero's established Vet Clinics - Cuero Vet Clinic and Dewitt Vet Clinic But most of all - the COMMUNITIES - Pet Adoptions of Cuero is so grateful and appreciative for the financial donations, food and supply donations and service donations. All this support helps keep the shelter succeeding and meeting its goals of taking in up to 400 cats and dogs each year, getting them vetted and adopted out. This includes support from Cuero, Yorktown, Yoakum, Runge, Sweet Home, Concrete, Austin, San Antonio, Houston, Victoria and dozens of other small towns near and far. We are indebted to all the friends old and new who are the backbone of our success. Thank you one and all from all the pups, canines, kittens and felines - and most of all the PAOC staff and crew.
