Nordheim FFA had a very successful leadership development event season. Greenhand chapter conducting took first place in district and third in area. The Greenhand quiz team earned second at the district contest and third place at the area contest. Nick Villarreal was second high point at district and sixth at area. Claire Villarreal was ninth high point in district with Addison Rogers seventh high point at the area contest. The senior chapter conducted took second in district and 5th in area. Finally the senior quiz team earned second in district and sixth in area. Cody Jones was second high point at district and Brayden Jennings was seventh high point . Congratulations to everyone for their hard work.
Nordheim Ag dept has moved into a new shop, part of the bond project was to convert the old bus barn into a fabrication shop for the Ag dept. The new shop has twice as many welding booths, and three times the square footage. This new shop allows for the laying out of large projects and several at once.
Nordheim Ag dept and FFA would like to thank the Nordheim Education Foundation who provided funds for new welding machines to outfit the booths. And the Tam family donated funds for a cnc plasma table.
