As the New Year is upon us and we are pondering what the year will be for us, what is it we are looking for? Are we looking for a better year, a more prosperous year, riches, glory, fame, or something that is going to push our image to a higher plane while on earth?
For those of us that know Jesus, know for sure that what we attain and accomplish on earth is only going to be with us for a little while. We are going to leave it all behind when it comes our time to go home and be with the Lord.
Why is it then that we put our faith in things, objects, others, and let them control our destiny? Why is it that we work so hard to improve our image and living?
