In December of 2024, new management of Visiting Angels officially took over serving the counties of DeWitt, Lavaca and Victoria. A national franchise, Visiting Angels has locations across the United States owned and operated locally that provide inhome elder care services. Visiting Angels can assist with bathing, dressing, walking, medication reminders, errands and shopping, light housekeeping, meal preparation, friendly companionship. The company serves those aged 18 and older, including disabled adults, veterans and senior citizens, in the comfort of their own home no matter where home is.
The local owner and administrator is Jimmie Lee Riverkamp, who has owned and operated the Gonzales office of Visiting Angels for 14 years serving the counties of Bastrop, Gonzales, Guadalupe, Fayette, Caldwell, Hays, and Travis. Other members of the team are Director, KâLeigh Pish, Office Manager, Curt Pish, and Administrative Assistant, Deidra Kuntschik.
