God first....Heavenly Father, today I feel alone, yet I am not lonely. There is peace in solitude while I pray in quietness to lead my thoughts to restful healing. Help me use this time alone to find myself and reach deep inside my heart and mind to find peace. Calm the spirit within me as I reach out for Your Amazing Grace and pray in the name of our dear Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Hello from Nordheim. What a great day. The sun is shining, the birds are flying about. And it's Friday morning. Nothing is frozen. If you have been around as long as some of us, we learn to appreciate every new day. GOD has given us a new day to share with everyone around us.
As I drove around the community yesterday, I saw lots of students getting ready for tomorrow's FFA Stock Show, grooming their livestock with tender care and hopeful anticipation of reward for all the work, effort, and time they put into them. Been there and done that. Will need to wait until next week with more details and outcomes.
What's this new thing I've been hearing about lately? Artificial Intelligence? I know a man who knows a feller who recently said that his wife went swimming in the hotel swimming pool while her husband got his drink and sat by the pool and enjoyed the company of all the people there. While he was coming back with a drink in his hand, he saw a bunch of people gathering around a lady that had supposedly almost drowned. As he went over to see the excitement, he recognized his wife being worked on by a lifeguard. As he broke through to see what was going on, he asked, 'What are you doing?' The life guard told him that he was giving her artificial respiration. He answered, 'Give her the real thing. I'm rich and I don't care what it costs, just find something intelligent to do to save her. Don't want anything artificial. I want the best!'
I don't know about artificial intelligence, or AI, as they keep talking about in all the news I hear and read about, but what frightens me the most is that the government has something to do with it. Don't know anything the government does that is intelligent because almost everything that comes out from there isn't very intelligent. Are they hiding intelligence with the word, artificial, to disguise it as something else? And when no one knows exactly what it does or what it really means, newscasters are asking too. They say that most of it came from the previous administration. It's going to take a lot of explaining to convince me it's not something that is hiding around the corner for us to worry about. We all want the best, but at what cost? Help, the sky is falling, the sky is falling. Run for your lives. See you next week, maybe.
