Throughout the month, we will host a series of screening events, heart healthy cooking event, and special pricing for cardiac screenings, providing vital information on how to prevent heart disease and improve cardiovascularhealth.
Heart Disease: A Growing Concern Heart disease remainstheleadingcauseof death in the United States, but the good news is that manyformsofheartdisease can be prevented through lifestyle changes and early detection. This February, Cuero Regional Hospital will focus on educating the community about risk factors for heart disease, including high blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, and smoking, as well as the importance of regular exercise, healthy eating, and stressmanagement.
