Sanford Trevino Jr. Sanford Trevino Jr., 58, of Cuero, went to be with the Lord on January 23, 2025. He was born on January 17, 1967, to Sanford Trevino Sr. and Mary Medrano Trevino. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Sanford found deep fulfillment in his work with the Kairos Prison Ministry, where he was able to share his faith and make a meaningful impact on others. His dedication to this ministry reflected his generous spirit and commitment to helping those in need.
Sanford is survived by his loving wife, Geralyn Trevino; his children, Erica Trevino and Sanford Trevino III; his stepchildren, Sabrina Rangel and DJ Rangel (and wife, Makayla); his adored grandchildren, Stella Trevino, Brian Trevino, Cynthia Rangel, and Skylar Gonzales; his siblings, Melissa Martinez (Ernest), Diane T. Wade (Edward), Anita Trevino (Derrick), Daniel Trevino (Norma) and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Irene Trevino and his brother, Joe Trevino.
Visitation will be held Saturday, February 1, 2025, 9:00 AM at Freedom Life Church with Funeral Services to begin at 10:00 AM with Pastor Jeanine Coppedge officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
Pallbearers include his nephews.
The honorary pallbearer is Dennis Scott.
Sanford will be remembered for his kindness, his passion for service, and his unwavering love for his family. May he rest in peace.
