Basketball Brilliance

The Lady Gobblers basketball team continued their dominant streak by crushing San Antonio Memorial 76--10 and overcoming a battle with LaVernia 74-40, securing backto- back District Championships.

Coach Amy Crain commented “Extremely proud of this group and our season! Back to back District Championships, going undefeated in both years is very hard to do and is both physically and mentally very challenging. I’ve said it before, but this group just really loves being on and off the court with each other and it shows. They are ready for a long playoff run and chasing several more championships.”

Senior standout Arissa Carbonara led the charge with an impressive 22 points in the Memorial game and an astounding 34 point career high vs. LaVernia. Senior Aubrey Bowles joined in the fight with a combined 33 points between the two games as well as Senior Mauryana Dasilva 18 combined points, Senior Jaydie Cooper 13 points, Senior Kyara Denson 6, and Senior Kaitlyn Comiskey 12 points.
