The Little Women Hospitality Program met Saturday at St. Michael’s Catholic Church and School and had a very special guest help with their session. Miss Texas Teen USA, Dallyn Pesek, helped with the topics of conversation, introductions, how to treat others and also touched a bit on the importance of service.
According to Anne Milligan Callaghan, its founder, “The Little Women Hospitality Program is a unique Catholic girls program that teaches our daughters the charming aspects of the virtue of hospitality, using literature as well as holy inspirations of our Faith and of Our Lady. This program employs practical examples to help Catholic moms pass on to their daughters the lovely, gentle, and charming ways of a true woman of the kingdom.”
The program is led locally by Jill Crain and Kelly Winkler. They have already had sessions on the skill of cooking/ baking, how to clean a room and prepare it for a guest, how to set and clear a table along with table manners.
