Cuero Health employees came together to raise funds and participate in the American Heart Association’s (AHA) annual fundraising walk on February 1. A total of $1,472.74 was raised for the Crossroads 2025 Heart and Stroke Walk event held in Victoria through the American Heart Association. A total of 55 walkers from various departments signed up to support the AHA’s mission, honoring loved ones and promoting education on heart disease prevention. Cuero Health Team was ranked #4 out of 42 total teams in raising funds.
Through their fundraising efforts, employees contributed to vital research and awareness initiatives that aim to reduce the impact of cardiovascular disease. The event not only raised critical funds but also highlighted the importance of heart health, with participants walking to take charge of their own well-being and encourage others to do the same.
“We are proud of the dedication our employees have shown in supporting this important cause,” said Tamara Kainer, Marketing Director at Cuero Regional Hospital. “This event allowed us to come together as a team, honor those affected by heart disease, and promote healthy habits that can make a real difference in our community.”
