Cuero Heritage Museum presenting Coca-Cola exhibit

The Cuero Heritage Museum will hold a reception for the Coca-Cola collection from 4:30 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2. The collection will include memorabilia from personal collections of Tony Allen and Cynthia Lawyer. Items from the former Coca Cola building, owned by E.T. Summers, will also be featured at the exhibit.
“I’m glad to find a place for these items. Previously, I had stored these items in my house and garage,” Summers said.
Wayne Adickes, museum chairman, said he has fond childhood memories of the building.
“As a boy I can remember when that bottling line was there and you could stick your face against the window and see them washing the bottles and filling them,” Adickes said.
