Gobblers advance to bi-district


   In what could have been an undisputed first seed for the Cuero Gobblers with a win against La Grange,  Coach Phil Schwarz succeeded to take second seed after their 6-3 lost against the Leopards on April 25 at home. 
   “Its a good situation to continue playing to keep up the intensity rather than sit for two weeks,” Schwarz said. 
   With the loss, three teams ended up in a three-way tie; La Grange, Cuero, and Yoakum. Yoakum elected not to play to determine first, second and third seed therefore leaving Cuero’s hands tied.
