Gobblers advance to area game Saturday


   If the Gobblers wanted to have a rematch with the team that took them out last year during the regional round they would have to step up their game. Coach Phil Schwarz has been trying to get them to maintain momentum since the beginning of the season. On May 3, the home game against Columbus was no different.
   After the bottom of the first inning Cuero took a huge lead 7-0. In the bottom of the second inning Cuero would score again extending their lead 8-0. 
   But as history has shown, Cuero  started to lose that momentum. At the top of the third inning Austin Johnson was put on short stop with Levi Jones to pitch.
