Gracelynn Gohlke baptised April 21

Gracelynn Hope Gohlke, daughter of K.W. and Samantha Gohlke, all of Yorktown, received the Sacrament of Holy Baptism on Sunday, April 21, during the morning service at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Bay City with the Rev. Bradley Sullivan officiating.
Presented for baptism by her parents, Gracelynn was radiant in a long, formal gown of white satin, created by her great-grandmother, Marta Flores of Yorktown.  The gown featured white scalloped lace encrusted with iridescent and pearl beading and white satin ribbon roses along the waistline and at the edge of the short puffed sleeves and hem. She wore a white knitted cap embellished with a large white flower, also a gift of her great-grandmother.  Gracelynn was wrapped in a special baptismal shawl hand-knitted by her great-aunt, Pam Culpepper of Yorktown.
