Glatha Clark


   Glatha Clark, 78, of Cuero passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2013. 
   She was born Oct. 16, 1934 in Rusk to the late R.T. and Izetta Sipper Stuart. She married her beloved husband Jack Clark on May 30, 1959 in Mission.
   She is survived by her daughters, Sheri Clark (Dennis Powell) of Woodsboro, Vicki Martin (Billy) of Cuero, Jackie Clark of Austin, Cathy Morrow (Raley) of Cuero, Robbie Clark and Jenna Moreland of Dripping Springs; grandchildren, David Morrow (Kourtni) of Yoakum, Dustin Morrow of Cuero, Dylon Morrow of Stratton, Chad Flessner of Victoria, Cody Flessner of Cuero, and Alexa Moreland of Dripping Springs; great-grandchildren, Bailey Morrow, Demi Morrow, and Ayden Flessner all of Yoakum.
   She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
   Glatha will be remembered for her generous and fun loving spirit. She was always friendly, outgoing and never met a stranger. Glatha would welcome you into her home with open arms and a home cooked meal. She was famous for her fried chicken. She never thought twice about packing up and going to the rig to cook a holiday meal for Jack and his hands. Everyone who knew Glatha would have to agree that she loved to laugh ad have a good time and was not above telling an off color joke. Beyond her fun loving and generous spirit, Glatha was first and foremost a fiercely loving wife and mother. She loved her family more than words can say and that same family now rejoices in the fact that she is back in the arms of the love of her life, Jack. Glatha will be dearly missed , never forgotten and forever loved.
   Visitation will be held Thursday, June 6, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 7 at Freund Funeral Home with Herbert Polinard officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
   Pallbearers include David Morrow, Dustin Morrow, Dylon Morrow, Chad Flessner, Cody Flessner, and Shane Buske.
Honorary pallbearers include Raley Morrow, Billy Martin, Dennis Powell and Chris Koenig.
   Memorial donations may be made to Bluebonnet Youth Ranch or Devereux Foundation.
