Thomas celebrates 100th birthday with reception

A warm reception was given by all who attended the 100 year birthday celebration of Mrs. Anne Louise Friar Thomas on May 25 at Cuero’s Chisholm Trail Heritage Museum. Everything was decorated in her favorite color, blue, and with her favorite flowers.
“I like all flowers but you can’t beat roses,” said Thomas.
Joe Adams opened the celebration for everyone to sing happy birthday.
Roy Johnson, city council member, gave an official birthday proclamation from the City of Cuero.
Robert Oliver gave a speech of appreciation of Thomas’ leadership with the preservation of the Chisholm Trail Museum building.
