Pilot Club says goodbye to Cuero Country Opry

Dear Editor,
The Pilot Club of Cuero would like to thank the people of Cuero and surrounding communities for supporting our club and the Cuero Country Opry each month. After five years of great food, wonderful conversation, and most of all exceptional live music, we must say goodbye to the Cuero Country Opry.
We cannot thank you enough for supporting the Opry for all these years. We have enjoyed seeing each of you every month and watching your smiling faces as you listened to the wonderful live music.
Words cannot express the appreciation we have for the Chisholm Trail Swing Band (Eddie Maxwell, John Buehler, Buddy Boehm, Randy Boyd, Rick Weiss, and the late Jimmy Prause) for driving from all over the state to perform each month and bringing amazing singers to bless us with their gift of music. Not only did you put on a great show with your singing and playing of instruments, but your humor and jovial spirit was so refreshing each month.
A special thank you to all the Pilots that helped with the Opry in any way and to our Co-Pilot, Jimmy Mayer, who helped the Pilots set up each month.
Thank you to Werners for catering every month and for providing us with amazing food to serve our loyal Opry-goers.
The Pilot Club of Cuero would also like to thank our sponsors: Best Western - Cuero, BP Fabric of America Fund, Brent Baker & Associates, C&K Rentals, Thomas and Emily Cheatham, BJ Childs, Jay Condie, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Cook, Courtyard Gallery, Cuero Gift & Boutique, Cuero Herman Sons 82-4, Cuero Hermann Sons Agents, Cuero Livestock Commission Cuero National Bank, Cuero Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Cuero Pecan House, Cuero Record, Cuero VFW, Di's Hair Station, Diane's Hair Salon, Dolans Rental Properties, Eagleford Restaurant, Farmers Insurance, William R.
