Haywood Washington, 76, formerly of Cuero, passed away on June 19, 2013.
He was born on Sept. 25, 1936 in Corpus Christi. Haywood is preceded in death by his father Willie Washington and his mother Vera Lee McKeene Ridyolph. Haywood served his country in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his sisters Estella Johnson of Cuero, Veola Ingram of Las Vegas, Annie Thompson of Corpus Christi, and sister-in-law Pearlie Ridyolph of Victoria. He is also survived by his brothers Melvin Patton and Clarence Ridyolph of Cuero and Rufus Ridyolph of Victoria. He is also survived by his special friends Laura Ann Sanders and Linda Ross.
He is preceded in death by brothers John Ridyolph and Elmo Ridyolph and sisters Theresa Jackson and Carolyn Ridyolph.
A church service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 22 at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church with the Rev. Fred Hobbs officiating. Burial will be at Woodman Cemetery at 2 p.m.
