Grace Episcopal Church announces July 4 carnival


   The members of Grace Episcopal Church are busy preparing for their annual July Fourth Carnival to be held on Thursday, July 4, at the Cuero Park Pavilion. 
   Activities will begin with the “Young Patriots Parade” at 9:45 a.m. Children are invited to dress in red, white and blue and join the parade on a bike or tricycle. The parade will start at the park pavilion. Bobby Schley of the Cuero VFW will lead the parade carrying the United States flag.
   An invocation and flag ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. before the carnival opens. Carnival booths and activities will include a cake walk, face painting, an inflatable playscape, a dunking booth, duck pond, fishing and cookie decorating. Children may also ride on the Grace Church train.
