Lollie (Evelyn Lucille) Angerstein


   Lollie (Evelyn Lucille) Angerstein passed away on July 15, 2013, with family and friends supporting her. 
   She was born March 13, 1919, in Beaumont, to the late Frank Vincent and Ella Ermis Pavlicek. Lollie graduated from Pattie Welder High School and while working at Foster Field met her husband, LeRoy Angerstein. They were married Oct. 4, 1942, in Victoria and lived in Deming, NM, Saint- Gaultier, France and San Antonio before settling in Meyersville. They loved to travel by car and cruise ship covering all 50 states and several countries. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Arneckeville and though she could no longer attend services loved her visits from Pastor Barb.
   Lollie is survived by her children; Linda Angerstein of Austin; Dan Angerstein (Jerry Schultz) of Hendersonville, NC; Ella Goebel (Clifford) of Arneckeville; and Paula Angerstein (Paul Grosso) of Austin. She is also survived by one grandchild, Casey Dean Angerstein Goebel (Chris Ortiz) of Seattle, and one sister, Mary Ann Tucker of Victoria. She was lovingly cared for in her later years by Louisa Alvarez of Yorktown and many special caregivers. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
   Visitation will be from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 17 at Freund Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 18 at Freund Funeral Home with Pastor Barbara Beale officiating. Interment will follow at St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Meyersville.
   Pallbearers include Blake Dunn, Clifford Goebel, Paul Grosso, Roy Lott, Charles Tucker and Norm Walsh.
