DEC prepares for Christmas in the Park

The Cuero Development Corporation December Events Committee received a special delivery July 25.  Eighteen crates from Albany, Ore. were unloaded in the park.
The crates contained 15 new scenes that were received by volunteers Tony Allen, Buzz Edge, Alton Meyer and Cliffe Bothe. The scenes included: Santa riding a tractor, a cowboy boot with holly, a star for the nativity scene, elves, an 8 foot pink ribbon, Texas A&M’s Reveille, Eskimos fishing, polar bears, an oil derrick and pumpjack.
