Kenneth J. Weston


Kenneth J. Weston was born to Ernest and Emma Goldman Weston in Westhoff, Dec. 28, 1931, and entered rest Sept. 11, 2013. 
He was preceded in death by his parents and three older brothers and their wives: Clifton and Rose Staton Weston, Carlton and Peggy Rackley Weston, and Charles and Joyce Parker Weston.
Kenneth is survived by his wife Vera Mae Barnett Sessions Weston and three children by deceased wife Sandy Herndon Weston: Robert and wife Becky Perry Weston, Michael and wife Debbie Bowman Weston, and Michelle and husband Shawn Malandrakis; grandchildren are Jay, Wesley, Dylan, and Kalan. He is also survived by his sister, Joyce Weston Boston Kayser, brother Royce and his wife Janet Johnston Weston, sister-in-law Marilyn Moore, three step-children along with their spouses and children, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Kenneth proudly served in the U. S. Navy during the Korean War and was a member of the Masonic Order. His home was in Westhoff for many years even though he traveled throughout South Texas until his retirement from Southern Pacific Railroad. He lived in Manvel, Texas, from the mid-1980s until his death.
