Refugia DeLeon, 78 of Cuero passed away Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013.
She was born on July 4, 1935 in Yorktown to Alonso Villa and Refugia Garcia. She married her beloved husband, Saragosa DeLeon Sr.
She is survived by her daughters, Mary Alice Gonzales (Claudio) of Cuero and Linda DeLeon (Martin) of Athens, Ga.; sons, Saragosa DeLeon, Jr. (Gloria) of Telferner, Ray DeLeon (Alberta) of Victoria, Roy DeLeon (Tina) of Victoria, Ricky DeLeon (Julie) of Lacey, Wash., and Roger DeLeon (Caroline) of Cuero; brother, Frank Villa of Yoakum; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons, Juan DeLeon and David DeLeon; sister, Janie Martinez; and brother, Erasmo Villa.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. with a rosary starting at 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29 at Freund Funeral Home. Services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 30 at Freund Funeral Home with Father David Berger officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Chris DeLeon, Ricci DeLeon, Raymond DeLeon, Chris Kenne, Erik Gonzales, and Claudio Gonzales.
