YJHS grandparents' breakfast a success

The Yorktown Junior High School faculty and students honored grandparents with an annual breakfast on Friday, Sept. 13.
There were approximately 90 grandparents and students in attendance at the meet-up in the Library, decorated for the occasion with an autumnal theme. Tables were adorned with fall-colored paper and flower arrangements.
Biscuits and sausage were served with orange juice and coffee as grandparents and students visited with their teachers.
Mrs. Sylvia Hernandez, principal, and YJHS teachers enjoyed the opportunity to visit with grandparents.
