New laws passed for heavy truck loads

As if trying to maneuver a large truck along crowded and sometimes damaged roads is not tough enough, it just got tougher.
Texas changed a few laws dealing with heavy truck loads and they are in effect now.
As DeWitt County Justice of the Peace judges Peggy Mayer and Bill Robinson will be explaining to truckers, if your truck is overweight - it’s going to cost you.
And to emphasize the matter, DPS has stationed a weights and measure trooper to this county. It is Trooper Kenny Parma who is familiar with this county having covered it for a number of years.
