Mount Vernon Mills says thanks

Dear Editor,
We recently asked for the community's help in our petition drive. We asked you to sign our petition and support our efforts in asking congress to limit China’s ability to import textile goods duty free. Your response has been overwhelming.
We want to take this time to give you a heartfelt thank you for your support. We want to thank you, our community for supporting us.
We have been humbled with the outpour of signatures from individuals and the cooperation of businesses in “our” community. Your support means so much to us, thank you.
We want to give a special thank you to Tim O’Malley, the Cuero Record staff and the City of Cuero for their help in collecting signatures. You went above the normal call of duty, thank you friends.
Cueroites and surrounding area friends thank you for your support,
If you have not signed our petition, it is not too late. Please come by the main office at 202 N. Gazzie in Cuero or you can call us for more information, 361.275.2393 x15.
Signatures are still needed. Petitions will be sent to Washington D.C. later this year.
Please know that every signature counts. We want to make our voice heard.
Thank you and God bless our land,
Gary Lane, plant manager on behalf of Mount Vernon Mills Cuero Plant
