Wildcats end season against Shiner

The Yorktown Wildcats did not lay down after the third play of the game when Jacob Garcia threw an interception landing the Shiner Comanches at the Yorktown 29-yard line. Instead they fought back with what could have been a Wildcat victory but their own mistakes in penalties and change of strategy in the second half cost them the game 28-6.
In the first half of the game the Wildcat defense shut down the Comanche attack to only 19 yards rushing with 13 plays. Two of Shiner’s three possessions were turnovers after four plays. The only account for the Shiner’s scoring was after the interception. They were already in Yorktown territory. However that did not stop the Wildcat offense from answering back.
