Community makes impression on visitor from New Mexico

Dear Editor,
I was in Cuero visiting my son Kevin during the Thanksgiving holidays. He recently moved to Cuero from El Paso and is employed with the City of Cuero. I had the pleasure of meeting other city employees at their Thanksgiving luncheon. I was so pleased to have my son join your community because it reminded me of the close-knit family atmosphere we felt when we lived in Sonora, Texas.
Kevin took me through the Christmas in the Park exhibit and we walked through the historical part of downtown Cuero. I certainly appreciated the efforts the individual businesses and the hard work the community has accomplished.
While having dinner at one of your local restaurants, the football team was there having a team dinner. Kevin said your community was a big supporter of the high school and all the programs in the schools.
Keep up all your good efforts, as a visitor of your community, it certainly made an impression.
