Cuero man's past inspires artwork

Inspired by the hurt and anger of his past, Michael Gonzales has taken that pain from his heart and made something good out of it.
“Everything in my life now reflects in my work. I want to give back the true beauty,” Michael said.
Michael was one of two boys adopted by Gerard and Debbie Gonzales who own and operate Standard Printing. Just like his father, Michael took an interest in art.
Gerard said, “When [Michael] was about five he started drawing. They were drawings of created scenes.”
