Following is a review of the top stories printed in the Record from the second half of the year 2013. Top stories from the first half of the year 2013 were printed in last week’s edition of the Record.
July 10–City of Cuero water superintendent Wayne Berger said the schedule of completion for the new wastewater plant was updated about a month ago. The new estimated time of completion is June 2014. They hope to be relocated by November 2014. Berger said construction began April 15, 2013.
July 17–The Cuero ISD board of trustees recognized Andrew Mitchell during their regular board meeting July 11. Mitchell earned his CHS diploma 35 years after “graduating” CHS in 1978.
July 24–After spending part of the week with city representatives and downtown property owners, on July 18, the Main Street resource team presented their initial report at the Chisholm Trail Heritage Museum.
