Lady Gobblers lose Jan. 7 Yoakum game

The lack of execution and a tough  defense was the cause of the Lady Gobblers’ 30–56 loss in the away game against Yoakum on Jan. 7.
“[Yoakum is] pretty good, plus we didn’t execute like we needed to in the first half,” said Lady Gobblers basketball head coach Terrance Fryer.
According to Cuero’s statistics, they were off by a near 36 percent of their game. Normally averaging 37 points per game Cuero was off by 22 percent in rebounds and 58 percent in assists. Defensively, the Lady Gobblers average 13 steals a game falling short the 5 steals they had against Yoakum.
