Over 1,000 family members at bash

Dear Editor,
On behalf of Cuero ISD, I would like to give a big Gobbler thank you to everyone who participated and attended our Cuero ISD Winter Bash. The students all enjoyed presenting their Project Based Learning projects and talents to their family members and community. We had a great turnout and received numerous compliments. According to our sign in sheets we had over 1,013 family members and students attend the event.
A huge round of applause to our community members who partnered with us and donated items: Walmart (Adan Campos and Velma Garza) door prize gift cards, McDonald’s (Mr. and Mrs. Randy Jochim) drinks, HEB (Morris Hopes and Maggie Ortiz) door prize gift cards, and Rent-A-Center (Jessie Garcia and Deanna Guajardo) Razor scooter and kids fun packs.
Parental involvement is the foundation for student success. When schools, parents, and community members work together, the results are successful Cuero ISD students. Thank you for helping make the event a huge success.
