Main Street Program seeks to nominate local businesses for state award


The Cuero Main Street Program in partnership with The Texas Historical Commission will be nominating businesses that have been in operation for at least 50 years to receive the THC Texas Treasure Business Award. 
This program, created in 2005 by Senate Bill 920, authored by Senator Leticia Van de Putte of San Antonio and sponsored by Representative Charles “Doc” Anderson of Waco, pays tribute to the state’s well-established businesses and their exceptional historical contributions toward the state’s economic growth and prosperity.
