Cuero teen Brandy Cole places in state pageant

DALLAS – Cuero has yet another reason to be proud: local teen Brandy Cole, competing as Miss Teen Cuero International, was named second-runner-up to the title of Miss Teen Texas International 2014, the premier pageant celebrating Texas teens. The competition was held March 16 at the Granville Arts Center in Dallas.
Cole competed with teens from across the state and stood out with her intelligence, character, and style. Her platform, “Serving America’s Veterans,” is a personal one to Brandy, who uses it to get others involved in helping veterans. Brandy is an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
“Brandy is a shining example of what the Texas International system is all about,” said Rachel Hedstrom, executive director of the Texas International system. “She is articulate, intelligent, passionate about her cause, and she uses that excitement to make a difference in the world around her. We are so proud of Brandy, and we are certain that Cuero is, as well.”
