47 flower baskets made to hang downtown

Spring has finally sprung in Cuero and the Cuero Main Street program is once again working to help beautify the downtown area 47 hanging flower baskets. This year the baskets will be filled with different varieties of Bougainvillea, Verbena, Lantana and Portulaca in shades of pinks, yellows, purples and reds and all purchased locally from Ful-O-Pep Ranch & Garden Center.
The annual project is under the guidance of the Organization Committee of the Main Street Advisory Board. The committee is continuing the partnership with the Cuero High School FFA Floral Design students to do the planting of all the baskets under the direction of Robyn Hermes, FFA Ag teacher.
