Brittany McGrew of Port Lavaca and Willis Braden of Cuero were married at 2 p.m. March 15, 2014 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Cuero. Father David Berger officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Sherron and Michael McGrew of Port Lavaca. She is the granddaughter of Betsey McGrew of Port Lavaca and the late Don McGrew and the late Beulah and Kenneth Roemer.
The groom is the son of Terrie Means-Waskow of Meyersville and Bill Braden of Cuero. He is the grandson of Erna and John Braden of Cuero and the late Sally and Arthur Means.
Briley McGrew of Port Lavaca, the bride’s sister, attended as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Brayson McGrew of Port Lavaca, the bride’s sister; Amanda Seamans of Conroe, the bride’s friend; and Lori Ramirez of Victoria, the bride’s friend.
Flower girls were Kenley Calzada of Port Lavaca, Kaisley Sutherland of Port Lavaca, and Bristol Braden of Converse.
John Braden of Converse, the groom’s brother, served as best man.
Groomsmen were Dusty Braden of Cuero, the groom’s cousin; Brighton McGrew of Port Lavaca, the bride’s brother; and Martin Leske of Cuero, the groom’s friend.
The reception was held at The Venue on Church Street in Cuero. The couple will reside in Cuero.
Brittany is a 2002 graduate of Calhoun High School. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Houston–Victoria with a Bachelor of Science degree in interdisciplinary studies in 2007 and  with a Master of Education degree in counseling in 2009. She is employed as a counselor at Cuero High School.
Willis is a 2000 graduate of Cuero High School. He graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural business. He is employed as a sales rep at Langston Companies.
