Kitty Kats split 1-1


The Yorktown Kitty Kats could not get a break against the Tilden Cowgirls at home on Aug. 15 losing in four games.
Yorktown volleyball coach Deirdre Alexander said, “We created too many unforced errors. We gave them too many points off hitting errors.”
The first game was an exchange of points early on. When the score was 12-8 Yorktown started to work the gaps for the win, 25-18.
With the jitters out of the way both teams came out with a little more confidence. With fewer mistakes each team exchanged one point for another.
