Thanks to all who made Cuero ISD Fish Camp, Back to School Bash a success

Dear Editor,
The Cuero Independent School District would like to thank each community member, business, teacher, volunteer, parent and student that contributed their time or donation to help make the 2014 Fish Camp and Back to School Bash a tremendous success.
The 2014 Fish Camp was held Aug. 12 at the Cuero High School cafeteria. Approximately 135 Gobbler freshmen participated. Breakout sessions during the day included activity time along with information sharing. A mock graduation was held at the end of the day which included each student’s plans after high school.
The 2014 Back to School Bash was held Aug. 19. Over 1,000 people attended. A big “thank-you” goes out to those who contributed to the success of this event. Once again, our Cuero community, businesses, teachers, volunteers, parents, and students were simply amazing in their responses to help.
These events will continue each year. Our partnerships to help each student be successful are evident in Cuero. The Gobbler spirit is strong and continues to live in the hearts of many.
Please feel free to visit the Cuero Independent School District. It’s always a Great Day to be a Gobbler.
