Dear Editor,

With the tradition dating back to 2013, it was the most wonderful time of the year as Cuero was transformed into a holiday destination for our annual Christmas in Downtown Cuero event. This event sentimentally stirred the magical feelings of the holiday with a vintage Downtown Christmas experience in our charming Cuero. The event kicked off the second weekend in December and the response was a gift in itself, attracting thousands of happy children and their families to experience the magic of Christmas in Downtown Cuero.

Cuero Main Street is thankful for the generous support of our sponsors, which helps support the community. Well done, everyone, we feel your holiday spirit. Platinum sponsors: HEB, GVEC, Energy Waste, Diamond K Services, Inc., Classy B’s, TLC RV Park, GEOSouthern, The Victoria Television Group, Whataburger and James Teleco; Gold Sponsors: Weber Motor Company, Walmart and Paradigm and our Silver Sponsors: TrustTexas Bank, Ful-O-Pep and Cuero Development Corporation. Bronze Sponsors include: TSG, Building Brands Marketing, Cuero Turkeyfest, Brookshire Brothers, Edward Jones Tyler McClellan, The Texan, Family Eye Care of Cuero, Thomas Surveyors, and Ranch House & Spirits. Thank you to our Friends of Downtown sponsors Millies on Main and Balloon People Tx. And, our local schools provided some festive entertainment and we are so proud of these young people sharing their talents with our attendees.

I am grateful for the amazing support from our City of Cuero, particularly from the staff for the massive undertaking of the setup and tear down of all the event components and thanks to our friends at the Cuero Chamber of Commerce for their ongoing support. It truly takes a village and this event would not be possible without our volunteers.

Finally, I invite you to experience the holiday magic happening in Downtown Cuero and explore our beautiful city. Christmas is such a special time of year and you can feel its spirit on the streets of Downtown Cuero.

Sincerely,

Sandra Osman, Cuero Main Street Director
