Good day Yorktown,
On behalf of the Yorktown City Council and myself as the Mayor, I want to personally welcome you to the 63rd annual Western Days celebration. After a one-year hiatus due to the Covid issue, it is great once again to be able to celebrate with family and friends.
As you enjoy the festivities this year, we would like to encourage everyone to do so in a safe manner. Please remember the following:
Please do not under any circumstances Drink and Drive. If you are not able to drive or feel you should not be driving, do not hesitate to have family or a friend drive you home. If you have no one to assist you, please contact any person affiliated with the City of Yorktown and we will gladly help you.
Please respect both private and City property. We all work to maintain our properties and appreciate anything and everything you do to respect that effort. Our citizens spend their private dollars and the City spends public dollars to keep properties presentable and attractive. Let’s all work together to continue to make Yorktown a desirable place to live.
