Scott thankful for hospital angels

Dear Editor:

Last week, I was at the doctor’s office in Cuero, got a shot and had an allergic reaction to a medicine taken just a month earlier. I didn’t know this was happening till I had driven across town. My breathing was difficult at first, then I couldn’t breathe at all.

By the time I got to the Emergency Room reception desk, all I could say was, “I can’t breathe!” I don’t remember anything after that for I don’t know how long.

In the E.R., the first thing that I saw was angels that were swarming all around the room. I couldn’t make out faces, but I heard voices. I couldn’t tell what the voices were saying, maybe they weren’t talking to me, but I could tell they were very busy. I knew they were there to help me! I have been in this place before and I know that’s what angels do.

Some time later I could see the angels' shapes, faces, clothes, and big smiles. I didn’t know them, but God had gathered them there for me. They are all special people with big hearts! I can’t say thanks enough... Thank you Jesus! Love them angels! There are angels everywhere in the hospital!

Miracles still happen,

Steve Scott
