Cuero Municipal Library gives thanks

Dear Editor,

With the Summer Reading Program coming to a close the Cuero Municipal Library would like to express our gratitude to everyone that made our program so amazing this year.

We would like to start off with a thank you to all of the performers and instructors that participated in our program.

Performances included: Chemistry Road Show, Texas Snakes & More, Amazing Magical Balloon Show, Dinosaur George, Mr. Kippy, Comedy Magician, The Bubble Magician, and Big Time Bubbles

Instructors: Cesia from Mid-Coast Family Services’ Craft Time, Shanna and Pebbles from Toddler Storytime With Pebbles, Pat Koenig from Kid’s Craft Camp, and Linda Thamm from Young Authors in the Making.

A huge thank you to GVEC for their partnership with the Library during our Summer Reading Program kickoff event with Chemistry Road Show.

We would also like to extend our thanks to the local merchants that allowed us to distribute their coupons as incentives for the children to continue reading during the summer time.

Merchants: The Donut Palace, U&I Donuts, McAlister Sweet Shop, Dairy Queen, KN Drive-In, McDonald's, Sonic, Whataburger, Bush’s Chicken, and Church’s Chicken.

There were also donations from our local Dollar General, Subway, and H-E-B. We cannot thank you enough for your generous donation towards our final event.

Last, but not least, the library would like to send out a big thank you to all the children that attended these events and participated in our Summer Reading Program Challenge.

This year’s Summer Reading Program wouldn’t be the same without our community’s support. Thank you all.
