Hancher Library Foundation grant
The Cuero Municipal Library wishes to thank the Ladd and Katherine Hancher Library Foundation for a grant of 26,000 dollars. This grant will enable us to purchase four AWE Computers and place them in our Children’s section. There will be a small amount left over which will go to help purchase other furnishings.
We are very grateful for your commitment to help libraries transform into places that will meet the needs of our future generations.
These educational computers are a safe alternative and provide an internet-free environment for our children with over 70 different applications in the After School Edge program helping children ages 6-12 and the Early Literacy Station which is designed specifically for younger patrons 2-8 and features over 4,000 localized learning activities. This fun interactive and engaging content spans all seven curricular areas: math, science and nature, social studies and geography, reading, art and music, writing and computer skills, and reference.
We cannot begin to thank the Ladd and Katherine Hancher Library Foundation enough for their generosity, support, and kindness to the Cuero Municipal Library.
God Bless and Thank you,
Cuero Municipal library
