LineMAN Challenge

Dear Editor,

The lineman of the Cuero Gobbler football team would like to thank the community for their support allowing them to compete in the State LineMAN Challenge held at Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas on June 24. Special thanks go to Partners Chevrolet for donating the use of a 15 passenger van and to Sonic for help with the fundraising efforts. Thank you to 7C’s Unlimited for working with a tight deadline on short notice to fill the t-shirt order for the boys. Fifteen boys traveled to Abilene and represented Cuero High School and the community well, placing in a tie for third in the State. Without the help from local businesses, parents and the entire Gobbler community they would not have been able to participate. Thank you! Go Mean Green!
