Gobbler Baseball Prepares for Playoff Run

The Cuero High School Varsity baseball team will begin a home and home Bo-District playoff series on Thursday. The first game will be in Davenport at 7:00 pm. They will then move to Cuero for game 2, which begins at 7:00 pm. And if needed, the deciding game will be back in Davenport on Saturday at: 2:00 pm.

Gobblers Varsity Baseball Defeats Gonzales

Your Fightin’ Cuero Gobblers beat Gonzales 10-2 last Friday. Caleb Nagel and Colton Strelczyk led the Gobblers with three RBI each. Elijah De Leon had two RBI for Cuero. Eli Garrett pitched a complete game, giving up only four hits while striking out three.

Kitty Kats and Wildcats Qualify for Regional Track Meet

The Yorktown Kitty Kat and Wildcat track teams competed in the District 31-2A/32-2A Area Track Meet held at Javelina Stadium in Kingsville, Texas, this past Thursday, April 11, 2024. It was an exciting day for the teams, as six individuals and four relays advanced, and there were two school records broken.

Cuero Couple Celebrates 50th Wedding Anniversary

A 50th Anniversary celebration recently occurred honoring Donna & Stanley Fuchs who are from Cuero, Texas. The couple married March 2, 1974, at St. John Lutheran Church in Lindenau, Texas. Donna and Stanley have created a beautiful life with three amazing sons along with their spouses: Troy (Christi), Kyle (Tracy) and Randall (Kylea), and they are blessed with seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The family gathered in Fredericksburg, Texas for the weekend to celebrate the love and dedication of the past 50 years.
