Cuero’s first epilepsy walk
Cuero held its first epilepsy walk Sunday, March 26 at the Cuero Park.
Amber Pawlik’s son, Everett, had his first seizure when he was only sixmonths- old. His temperature went from “normal” to 102.8 so quickly his little body could not handle the change.
“His doctor said “maybe it’s just a febrile seizure and we will keep an eye on that,”” Pawlik recalled.
Everett went on to have five more seizures and by number six they said enough was enough. Finally his doctor referred them to Dr. Wang in Corpus Christi, and Everett was diagnosed with mild Epilepsy.
