Dr. Walthall welcomed to Cuero

Cuero Chamber of Commerce and Cuero Regional Hospital welcomed the newest addition to Parkside Family Clinic, Cody Walthall, M.D., who practices in Family Medicine/Obstetrics during the Chamber’s Fun After Five event on Thursday, Aug. 29. Dr. Cody Walthall, an Inez native, is a Board Certified Family Medicine physician with a sub-specialty in Obstetrics at Parkside Family Clinic in Cuero.
He graduated medical school at the Ross University School of Medicine in 2015. Prior to attending Ross University School of Medicine, Dr. Walthall proudly attended Victoria College, as well as the University of Houston-Victoria.
Walthall completed his internship and residency in Family Medicine at the University of Arkansas Medical Science – West in Fort Smith, AR. He was awarded Resident of the Quarter by faculty and peers at Sparks Hospital in Fort Smith, AR Sept. – Dec. 2017.
During his residency, Dr. Walthall received advanced training in high risk pregnancies, surgical obstetrics, diagnostic ultrasound, endoscopy and emergency medicine. Dr. Walthall is board certified as a Diplomat of the American Board of Family Medicine.
He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Walthall is an attending physician at Cuero Regional Hospital.
Approximately 50 folks gathered to welcome Dr. Walthall to Cuero, including CRH Board Director secretary Charles Papacek, CRH CEO, Lynn Falcone, Assistant Administrator, Denise McMahan, Chief Nursing Officer, Judy Krupala, and plenty of other staff members.
