Lady Pirates head to Regional Quarterfinals

The Nordheim Lady Pirate volleyball team progressed to the Regional Quarterfinal playoff round after beating the Buckholts in three straight sets (25-19, 27-25, 25-28) on Friday, Nov. 5, in Fayetteville.
The Lady Pirates, comprised of four seniors, with the remainder of the team being sophomores, are now Area champions.
According to coach Randy Castillo, “it was all about hard work and who wants it more. When you get to this spot in the season, it’s all about who wants it more. It doesn’t matter what’s in the past.”
